Blaine Kicks Off Library Summer Reading Program

David Blaine, who is acting as spokesperson for the New York State Libraries' summer reading program, told children gathered at the Flushing Main Street branch of the Queens Borough Public Library that he developed his love of magic by reading books about Harry Houdini at his local library. According to the article, Blaine is not only promoting the reading program, the kids who participate in it get a chance to win prizes, which includes lunch with Blaine.
