On May 12, 1994, Lance Burton received the "Mantle of Magic" from Lee Grabel. Harry Keller began the tradition of the "Royal Dynasty of Magic" by choosing Howard Thurston as his successor in 1908. Thurston passed the Mantle to Dante in 1936. And Lee Grabel received the Mantle in 1955.
